レクサスＬＦＡのローンチ・コントロール操作

マニュアル車でのレーシングスタートはエンジンをある程度回し、いっきにクラッチを繋ぎ
フル加速していきます。最近はセミATの登場で一部高級スポーツカーには、
「ローンチ・コントロール」なる機能が装備されていることも多いです。
レクサスLFAも例外ではありません。
LFAのローンチ・コントロール操作方法、ならびにローンチ・コントロール使用模様が
早速ネット上に出まわっていたので、ご紹介してみます。ローンチ・コントロールを使用すると
LFAでは4000回転からの、ロケットスタートが可能になるそうです。
1.ブレーキを踏み、パーキングブレーキ解除。
2.スポーツ・モードを選択し、シフトスピードをレベル7に設定。
3.1速を選択しシフトレバーで「－（シフトダウン）」を5秒間ホールド。
4.「LAUNCH」がメーターパネル内に表示されたら、シフトレバーをリリース。
5.4000rpmでホールドするよう、アクセルペダルを踏み込む。
6.ブレーキから足を離せば、発進！（アクセルペダルの踏み込み量で加速は変わる）
注意事項
・走行500km以下の車両ではローンチ・コントロール使用不可。
・エンジンやトランスミッションが十分暖まっていないと、ローンチ・コントロール使用不可。
・エンジン、トランスミッション、駆動系にエラーがある場合、ローンチ・コントロール使用不可。
・車両に多大なる負荷を与えるため、ローンチ・コントロールの連続使用不可。
・車両に多大なる負荷を与えるため、ローンチ・コントロールの利用回数は限定（詳しくはディーラーで確認）。

Launch control is equipped in most exotic super sports cars these days and Lexus
LFA is no exception. Launch con­trol uses over­all opti­mized con­trol that con­sid­ers
vehi­cle accel­er­a­tion per­for­mance, sta­bil­ity and clutch dura­bil­ity.
In order to set the system, follow the instruction below:
1.Firmly depress the brake pedal with your left foot and release the park­ing brake.
2.Select SPORT dri­ving mode and select shift speed at level 7.
3.Pull the “+” pad­dle shift switch to select 1st gear and pull the “-” pad­dle shift switch
and hold it for 5 sec­onds. “LAUNCH” will be dis­played on the meter.
4.Release the “-” pad­dle shift switch. Depress the accel­er­a­tor pedal firmly.
5.The engine speed will be auto­mat­i­cally main­tained at 4000 rpm.
6.Release the brake pedal. The vehi­cle will launch forward.
There are several warnings given by Lexus for the usage of Launch Control.
・Launch con­trol can not be set if the total mileage shown on the odome­ter is less
　than 310 miles (500 km).
・Launch con­trol can not be set until the engine and trans­mis­sion are fully warmed up.
・Launch con­trol can not be set if there is a mal­func­tion in the engine, trans­mis­sion,
　drive con­trol sys­tem or other rel­e­vant systems.
・As launch con­trol places a sig­nif­i­cant load on the vehicle’s mechanisms,it can­not be
　used two or more times in suc­ces­sion.
・To pro­tect the systems,the num­ber of times that launch con­trol can be used is lim­ited.
　To check how many times launch con­trol has been used on your vehi­cle, con­tact your
　Lexus dealer.
